With the rapid development of high-end hydraulic supports in China, the design technology of hydraulic systems and their key hydraulic components for hydraulic supports is also constantly improving.
Through analysis and calculation, it is believed that the main reason for the expansion of the column cylinder is due to the failure of some control valves in the system, which causes poor or blocked liquid flow in the column, resulting in instantaneous pressure impact in the upper chamber of the column. Therefore, the following solutions are proposed:
(1) Improve the overall quality of directional valves, hydraulic control check valves, and safety valves, especially the structural optimization design and processing quality of sealing pairs.
(2) Strengthen the process specifications of the column cylinder in the machining process, improve the core quenching ability of the cylinder material, and ensure the strength of the cylinder.
(3) Optimize the column control system by adding double alternating valves in the lower chamber of the column, so that the return liquid in the lower chamber does not pass through the directional valve, but directly returns through the alternating valve. This can effectively reduce the back pressure of the return liquid; The second is to ensure that the lower chamber can return fluid normally when the control valve fails, which is the key to the design of the high flow control system for the bracket.
(4) Add a safety valve to the chamber on the column. When the top plate suddenly comes under pressure, the response of the control valve in the lower chamber of the column lags behind to protect the upper chamber of the column. Especially for high flow rapid relocation systems and unstable working environments of the top plate, this can improve the impact resistance of the column and is an effective way to solve the problem of cylinder damage caused by pressure impact on the upper chamber of the column.
Through the implementation of the above measures, the problem of column cylinder expansion has been completely solved, and the mining party has reported good results.
